This recording features historical instruments and rarely heard melodies, along with some more familiar pieces Harpsichord, Wirestrung Irish Harp, Baroque violin, Baroque Flute, Flageolet and Hurdy-Gurdy are not common sounds to modern ears, but the combinations used here bring the listener to another time and seem so appropriate to this ancient music. Tunes are from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, France,Germany and even one from Poland.
